NAVIC Receiver To point you in the right direction, our NAVIC Receiver is a geographical position provider along with an additional broadcasting of short messages facility. The receiver bank on the Indian Regional Navigational Satellites Constellation (IRNSS), which is spread over a coverage area of 1500 km across the main land. These messages can be related to alerts, forecasts and directives on the occurrence of natural disasters like floods, earthquake, Tsunami, cyclones, landslides etc. and also the threats for the safety of life in areas with poor or no communication infrastructure. NAVIC Receiver has an inbuilt rechargeable battery with the capacity to provide seamless operation for up to 4 days. This also has an integrated Bluetooth functionality to communicate and provide the position (Latitude and Longitude) to compatible device, running a navigation application.
